Raised in Johnson City, Tennessee... near the birthplace(s) of "Dolly
Parton" and "The Band Perry"
Started singing & playing bass at age 11, influenced by the likes of Carl
Perkins, Vince Gill,
and many, many others.
He remarks about the Koolaid-Stand at the corner of Greenfield Pl in
Kingsport,TN and
growing up with not a care in the world.....well, back then it was
easier....
Moved to Atlanta, Georgia after finishing school and settled in with an
all original
group "Morris, Vaughn, and Smith" which afforded him the opportunity to
work in
some state of the art recording studios, meet and perform with some of the
already
established musicians of the area (including "Mothers Finest" and "Atlanta
Rhythm Section").
Was 2nd chair session bassist at an Atlanta Premier Studio for 3yrs.
At one time he could be seen/heard along the southeastern coastal area
(Gator Circuit)
and even as far north as Minnesota, and Ontario, Canada,
and as far west as Wyoming, and North Dakota.
Remembering his heritage, he relocated to Nashville, in 2009
to be continued..........
